John delivery a car from Chicago to San Diego, but on the road makes a fatal mistake of his journey, on a rainy night he picks up a fellow traveler, Mick MacLane, who turns out to be a maniac ...

The chase across the American wilderness smoothly flowing into the confrontation of two people who met by chance. Frightened John, beginning to slowly go crazy, because of all the horrors that met him in this seemingly more than calm trip. A fellow traveler is a psychopath Mick, with some kind of hellish perseverance and composure pursuing John, speaking in riddles, and also possessing charisma and charm. He substitutes him and smiles while looking into his eyes. Appears suddenly, killing everyone around. Who is he? Why would he do all this? Why exactly John?
